About Bailey & Keely
Saul Bailey and Mitch Keely are a box and fiddle duo quite unlike any other. After meeting on the Oxford session scene, they clicked over a love of pushing tunes to their limits, for sinking their teeth into them and reshaping them in the pursuit of groove and grit. Their debut album Atthomis released in 2024, being praised for “unbelievable musical chemistry” (Folk London) and “sheer beauty and fun” (Songlines).

Saul Bailey
Radio 2 Folk Award nominee and New Roots finalist Saul Bailey began playing melodeon and concertina for morris at a young age. Their music continues to draw upon English dance music alongside continental European styles. As well as having a solo career, Saul was part of the indie-folk band Glymjack, and has recorded as an accompanist for people including David Cambridge and Peterhouse Choir.
Mitch Keely
Mitch Keely is a composer and multi-instrumentalist, working predominantly in the English and Irish traditional music scenes. Since attending the Royal Academy of Music—studying under Tansy Davis, Gary Carpenter, and Rubens Askenar—Mitch has been blessed with opportunities to work with talent from a diverse scope of genres and traditions both in the UK and abroad as a backer, composer, audio engineer, and producer.
